I tried out a mix of aquatint and flatbite on this zinkplate.My airbrush-sprayed aquatint broke partially down and left me with flatbite. Had to drypoint some details, and also tested some handcoloring.

for aquatint i was using a graffiti spray with good result. Maybe this information will be helpfull /usefull for you.

I have tried it, but often it gets too coarse.Splattering.
But I will test other washes, to find somthing that can hold up.
