Linocuts.

Preparing for hanging in the cafe.

We are having open studios in december, but we are also hanging things in the cafe in the house.I am in a studio-house in the middle of town, together with other atists doing prints, paintings ,glass, jewlery.So the the press is coming today when we hang up things in the cafe.
I have made a small flyer to distribute, reminding people of what comes in december.

Preparing for this event,I`Ve painted my floor,fixed up the dirtiest wall and generally tidying up a bit.
My chaos HAUNTS me.

Printed this one on a terrible yellowish paper. So I have edited a little to see how it could be saved.

Warlords

I had a piece of plastic lying around, and tried out drypoint on it.
I think it came out a bit too blurred, and I think I should have tightened the press a bit more, so I could have removed more felts.
Well, that`s for being lazy!!

The top image showes my editioning a small linocut two days ago.
I delivered a lot of prints for commition this week, and I saw that it was nessesary to edition some more of them .X-mas coming up with exhibition here in the studio-house too.

New project --building linocuts.

This is just in the beginning, but I have great hope for it.
Well, I have intentions of building with bigger planes, and more colours.
Lino is both practical to handle,I can use scissors and scalpel making the cutouts,and relatively cheap.( I am using a substitute for lino, a floor-material)
