A 56 x 76 cm drypoint on 250g Somerset paper.Trialproof .
For the time being I have rigged myself a new working-station in my living-room.My studio down in the garage is cold and cluttered, and needs a serious cleaning up before I will enjoy sitting there again.
I bought a smart drawing-board the other day, one whitch can be regulated into 5 positions/ angles. A good lamp is also mounted on the dining- table.
This image startet out as a drypoint which I named "Ute en vinternatt".Directly translated it would be something like" Outside a wintery night". The finer point of the norwegian title is lost.It refers to a person who has been through some tough times and survived.
I disliked how the drypoint turned out, and tried to give it more visual life in a new medium, this MDF-plate above.
Saving the first title for a future image, I named this one:"Small Bird with no Country"-
25x30 cm MDF-cut.
A friend brought me six corn plants the day before yesterday, and I decided to make a small vegetable-garden around them.I had some piles with stones I have dug up from the garden soil and some tiles lying around.
Some old and new seeds came in handy.
I had five sorts of herbs sown this winter/spring and I took all of it and made this small area.
Yesterday I made the gardenpath to connect it all .
